The diminutive Asterix (Christian Clavier, who provides the voice and he previously starred Astérix y Obélix against Caesar 1999 and Astérix and Obélix: mission Cleopatra 2002) and his rather larger companion Obelix (voice by Guillaume Briat), warriors of the last village in Gaul still free after the Roman invasion, set out on a mission to search for a talented successor in order to deliver the cauldron of their druid's famous magic potion to help villagers to fight off the invading Roman army.
