When Leo Handler gets out of prison, he finds his aunt married to Frank Olchin, one of the big contractors; he's battling with a minority-owned firm for contracts.

This is the story of a double crossed ex con who returns home to the railroad yards and gets inadvertently involved in a bribe and political scheme regarding maintaining railcars. The plot is fairly realistic, Mark Wahlberg plays his role extremely well, as the ex con conned by his best friend, and respectful of his mother.
